You don’t have to adapt to change, you have to generate it

A phrase that is repeated a lot in the team (not least because it was coined by our CEO), and which we believe truly demonstrates the true way of approaching things.
You’re almost always waiting for others to do something so you can learn from them and apply that knowledge to your life and work.

Not many people dare to innovate, to challenge what exists, and to give things a different perspective. Convenience, comfort, and stability are words that are often repeated, and although we strongly support them, we also believe that it takes courage, uncertainty, and fear to make decisions that change things for the better.

Psychologist George Land already showed us in a study he conducted on more than 1,600 children:
After 5 years of study, their creativity remained at very high levels for 98% of them.
At age 10, 30% had a high level of creativity.
At age 15, only 12%.
And when they’re adults, only 2%.

At TOTEM, we don’t evaluate our employees’ worth based solely on their creativity, but we do believe that creativity shouldn’t be ignored. Because creativity is about exploration, about discovering, trying, and accepting that one can sometimes make mistakes.

When we say that at TOTEM we don’t have clients, but rather believers, we mean it from the heart. Because the people who trust our work know that we put their people at the center. Because it’s in our values, because it’s the best way for people participating in a transformation process to feel they can do important things.

We would like to think that more people, companies, and organizations use this term: that their clients and collaborators are true believers in their brand. That’s why today we want to show you how we do it at TOTEM.
