At TOTEM Branding, we firmly believe that the most powerful brands not only say what they are, but show it and live it at every touchpoint.
That’s why we are deeply proud and grateful to share the project for the new corporate headquarters in Madrid for PreZero Spain.
PreZero is much more than a leading global company; it is the powerful environmental division of the Schwarz Group (owner of chains such as Lidl and Kaufland). A key player with a clear and transcendent mission: to close the loop and protect our resources through innovative environmental services.
Its global strength is as impressive as its vision: with a presence in Germany, Spain, Portugal, Poland, the Netherlands, Austria, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, and Sweden. And it has a consolidated leadership position in Spain and Portugal, where it manages state-of-the-art services in more than 980 municipalities.
Its unwavering commitment to generating a positive and sustainable economic, social, and environmental impact is a true source of inspiration for our entire team. PreZero Group currently employs 30,000 people.
The challenge presented to us was fascinating and multidimensional: to provide their brand’s branded offices in Madrid with a comprehensive brand experience that transcended mere functionality.
Our team delved into their brand to define a unifying conceptual line, a guiding thread that captured PreZero’s vision and values in every visual detail that best expressed the story the brand wanted to tell in its space—a project well-conceived from the ground up.
We carried out extensive co-creative naming work for key spaces: from the meeting rooms, the wellness area, and the innovation and events areas, to the cafeteria. We also meticulously branded them.
The goal was for the brand to come alive in each of these moments of truth for all employees.
Because, in the end, how you make people feel is your brand.
We developed a comprehensive Signage Style Guide that covers everything from visual hierarchy and iconography to the selection of sustainable materials and finishes, including sizes, proportions, and placement.
All of this while incorporating rigorous accessibility standards, ensuring that the environment not only guides but also inspires, reflecting the essence of PreZero.
The result is a comprehensive, collaborative, co-creative project that is already being experienced and enjoyed.
We are immensely grateful to the entire PreZero Spain team for their trust and for allowing us to be part of this ambitious vision.
Their dedication to the social and labor inclusion of vulnerable groups and to environmental awareness drives us to continue building brands that generate a real and positive impact.
Congratulations, PreZero, on this new chapter and for leading the way to a better future.
