All of us in the TOTEM Branding team are very happy that TROPS has received the Cooperative of the Year 2022 award, within the VII edition of the Awards organized by Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España, which aims to disseminate the values of Spanish cooperatives.
The jury of the awards has chosen “unanimously” TROPS as the cooperative of the year and for this they have valued its work with tropical fruit and its international projection, as well as its commitment to innovation, technological development and commitment to sustainable development.
TROPS produces more than 40% of the avocado and 50% of the peninsular mango. With cultivation techniques that improve the environment season after season, and with sustainable resource consumption, it is the first Spanish agri-food company to certify its sustainability strategy with the Sustainable Development Goals promoted by the UN.

The Sociedad Agraria de Transformación TROPS was created in 1979 when five farmers from the Axarquia region decided to join forces to offer their products directly to the national and international markets.
TROPS currently has more than 3,000 associated farmers and its products are present in more than 25 countries.
