When Emmanuel College (University of Queensland) entrusted us with the evolution of its brand identity, we set out to do more than refresh visuals — we set out to capture the essence of a community that, since 1911, has inspired generations.

From day one, our approach was rooted in listening. We brought together students, alumni, faculty, and families to ensure the new identity didn’t just represent Emmanuel, but truly felt like Emmanuel.

Together, we shaped a brand system that connects past, present, and future:
A refined crest and logo that honor the College’s heritage while embracing digital flexibility.
A unified “Emmanuel Blue” palette that replaces decades of inconsistent tones with clarity and purpose.
A typographic and visual language inspired by the chapel’s stained glass and its timeless motto, Fiat Lux — “Let there be light.”
A warm, optimistic tone of voice that reflects a culture of belonging and growth.
