Not yet, though.
Our CEO, Andy Stalman, had the privilege of delivering the closing address at the 17th Leadership Course at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, organized by the Chair of Management and Business Culture.
It was more than a conference. It was an encounter filled with emotion, reflection, and vision.
A space to look inward, toward leadership and purpose.
And forward, toward a future where leadership is exercised with humanity, creativity, and courage.
And Andy shared some of our deepest convictions with alumni, trustees, authorities, and leaders:
– That culture is the fabric of an organization, and that no strategy can survive a flawed culture.
– That a brand is not what it sells, but what it represents.
– That leadership is no longer hierarchical, but rather collaborative, participatory, and emotional.
– That in such an automated world, the most disruptive thing is to remain human. And that the best branding always begins with a question: Why do we exist?
Three ideas that resonated strongly in the room:
Leading isn’t about commanding, it’s about inspiring. It’s not about imposing, it’s about inviting. It’s not about having all the answers, it’s about asking the right questions.
True leadership doesn’t build followers, it creates leaders.
Leadership needs less ego and more purpose. Less control and more trust. Less noise and more truth.
Thank you to the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) for sowing knowledge.
Thank you to the Leaders Chair for inspiring.
Thank you to every leader who chooses to leave a mark.
TOTEM Branding was present at our last conference of the year. A very special and meaningful closing.
And most importantly: the future was also in that room.
That’s why, as Andy says, the best is yet to come.
